It is my sincere hope that in sharing my story and private thoughts, other mothers faced with sending a son to war, will accept they are in for some tough days and nights ahead of them. The war will not only change their son but will change them as well. We can not go back to who we once were. Instead we must move ahead, with a new found strength and wisdom, knowing that if we can survive the heartache of sending a son to war we can survive almost anything. Stay strong.
